TMS320F28075: Cancel a transmission request

In TMS320F28335 I can cancel a transmission request by setting a bit in CANTRR register. If the transmission has been successfully aborted the corrisponding bit in CANAA register is set, which may generate an interrupt if enabled.

In TMS320F28075 how can I cancel a transmission request? Is there any register where I can check if transmission has been successfully aborted?

This is done with MsgVal. Below is from the TRM:

The transmission of multiple message objects may be requested at the same time. They are subsequently transmitted, according to their internal priority. Messages may be updated or set to "not valid" at any time, even if a requested transmission is still pending..

No interrupts are generated with cancellation.

So, to abort a transmission I have to disable a message box. It seems a drastic way but if this is the way, ok.

Hareesh,
I've made some further tests and I've verified that the transmission of a message can also be aborted by clearing to 0 TxRqst bit, i.e. bit 8 in IFxMCTL register (not TXRQST, bit 18 in IFxCMD register).
