Hi all,

I'm using F28055 as communication controller with 3 F28054Ms' SCI port and control 3 motors in my project. Some parameters need to be saved into EEPROM, so I selected a I2C Serial EEPROM 47L04. But I can find out I2C code in motorware.

There is no pre-made example code for I2C in Motorware. Instead, you will have to include the i2c.h file from the drivers directory and implement a program similar to the i2c_eeprom example in ControlSUITE found here C:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f2805x\v104\F2805x_examples_ccsv5\i2c_eeprom

I have ported i2c_eeprom example from controlSUITE to Motorware. But I had a problem when reading a byte from a special address of eeprom.

Code and watch window follow as below. After ARDY bit equals to 1 from watch window, the code can not continue to run instructions below "while (i2ca-

>I2CSTR.bit.ARDY == 0);". It looks like 'dead' there. I want to know how to solve the problem.
