I’m using the Instaspin-FOC libraries with a PMSM motor and my own HW with a Piccolo TMS320F28054 and a DRV8301 device. Now, the controller works using the speed mode. And here my question…Could the Instapin-FOC reduce the motor current working in a speed control mode? I know the current will depend on the load, but I ask if there are some tips to reduce the motor current assuming the same load on the motor shaft and the same speed (e.g. PIDs, a few change on the loop,…).
