TMS320F28035: [F28035] The maximum value of the input offset and input hysteresis value at analog comparator module

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Hi Champs,

Our customer are asking about the maximum value of the  the input offset and input hysteresis  value  at analog comparator module since we only had type value list down at datasheet. Do we have the reference for the maximum value to provide them becuase they want to have a safe value to limit the current for protecting the MOSFET??

Thanks

BR

Brian

  • Brian,

I'm afraid that we are unable to provide a max value for those.

However, it may be possible to use the ADC to infer the error if the system can tolerate calibration.

For example, if there is a static (or slow) voltage at the comparator input during power-up, the comparator can be swept until a trip condition is met. An ADC sample can then be used to determine the offset.
