LAUNCHXL-F28027: Jumper 4 to 11

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28027

Hello!

I have a strange behaviour of my SW, when I use the LUNCHPAD. Now I think I found the reason.

All Jumper 4 to 11 are closed, which make a short between GPIOs e.g GPIO16 and GPIO32.

How I can open these jumpers?

-Thomas

  • Thomas,

By default, all of the signals are shorted together as you see, even without a solder bridge or 0ohm resistor in place on J4 to J11. If you look at the layout in section 5.3 PCB Layout in the user guide, you will see that there is a trace connecting the signals. To disconnect the wire, just cut the trace with a razor blade between the pads.

We did this to allow for greater flexibility out of the box.

Let me know if this answers your question.
