Trying to figure out how to setup the hardware/board for SCI/UAR design on the the development kit.

Here is the kit and control board I'm using:

1. development kit :http://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT?keyMatch=TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT&tisearch=Search-EN-Everything

2. F2802xx(Piccolo-A) control card

Should I do the following according to the HW guide I attached:

Should I really remove the R10 on the F28027 control card ?
SW1 position 1 on position 2 on; SW2 position 1 on position 2 on; SW3 position 1 on position 2 on; SW4 position 1 off position 2 off ?

1. Should I really remove the R10 on the F28027 control card ?
A: Depends on what connection you will use, you need to remove it if you want to use the UART by USB via [M3] on the hvkit.
2. SW1 position 1 on position 2 on; SW2 position 1 on position 2 on; SW3 position 1 on position 2 on; SW4 position 1 off position 2 off ?
A: Refer to qsg_hw-cncd28027f, you need to set as below.
SW2: DOWN-UP
SW3: UP-DOWN
SW4: DOWN-UP
SW1: UP-UP

Thanks a lot for the information. Could you please help me understand how you come up with switch setup as mentioned in below?

SW2: DOWN-UP
SW3: UP-DOWN
SW4: DOWN-UP
SW1: UP-UP
