DRV8312-69M-KIT: Motor does not reach nameplate speed using Motorware lab 3b

Hi, im using motorware lab 3b to spin the DT4260-24-055-04H-PT motor.

Ive tried changing the speed reference beyond 2600 rpm but the speed of the machine stays just around 2600 rpm.

Can anyone offer a solution so that i can get the nameplate speed of 4000rpm.

1. Use lab02b/c to identify the motor parameters to get a correct value for your motor.
2. Confirm the DC power supply voltage is 24V and output current is enough.
2. Change the USER_MOTOR_MAX_CURRENT in user.h to a maximum value.

i have done 1 and 2. I have:
#define USER_MOTOR_MAX_CURRENT (3.0)
is this correct for the given motor

OK. You can set this value, and you can set a higher number if the motor speed is limited again. You can check the motor specification to select a correct value.

hi, the no load current from the specs given is no load current < 0.5. see
e2e.ti.com/.../490559
i tried setting:
#define USER_MOTOR_MAX_CURRENT (10.0)
and still same problem, only gets about 2600 rpm
