Question about TMS320F28035 SCI FIFO

Looking at the SCI Reference Guide “SPRUGH1C” it says that the Rx FIFO cannot be configured for an interrupt of more than 4 FIFO levels.

This talks about the 2802x but does not specifically talk about the part we are using “TMS320F2803x”. The document shows that at reset it is RXFIL4-0 = 11111, but it says it can only have 4 as a maximum (excerpt from UG below).

For our part, (TMS320F28035PAG) what is the max FIFO level  that can be set and what are the bits after reset?

This applies to both devices.  That is 2802x and 2803x have only a 4 level FIFO.

Bits 3 and 4 of receive interrupt level (RXFFIL) and transmit interrupt level (TXFFIL) are writable but have no effect since the SCI port only supports 4 levels.   The reset state is all set - which in this case means '4'.\
