F28M36P63C2: m3 EPI peripheral

Part Number: F28M36P63C2

Hi all,

is possible to use m3 EPI peripheral instead of EMIF delfino as described in http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDM-DELFINO-ETHERCAT for interfacing ET1100 with concerto MCU ?

TIA

Alessio

  • Alessio,

The ET1100 interface is asynchronous memory. EPI supports asynchronous memory so signal-wise it should work with ET1100.

Disclaimer: No one has confirmed this in the lab and the support software will need to be ported.
