CCS/TMS320C2812: stack won't fit in hole in Lab examples in TTO's C28x DSP Design Workshop

Part Number: TMS320C2812

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I'm getting up to speed using CCS 3v3. None of the solutions  of the lab will work because of  a linker problem e.g.

run placement fails for object ".stack", size 0x200 (page 1).  Available

   ranges:

   M0SARAM      size: 0x400        unused: 0x1c2        max hole: 0x1c2

error: errors encountered during linking; "./Debug/Lab2.out" not built

>> Compilation failure – means link fail!

I've tried reducing the stack size t o0x100 in the project options linker tab,

-q -c -m".\Debug\Lab2.map" -o".\Debug\Lab2.out" -stack0x100 -w -x -i"%BIOS_INSTALL_DIR%/packages/ti/rtdx/lib/C2000"

but something (the .tcf?) is overriding this as it stays at the 0x200 stated in the graphical tcf editor's System / MEM memory section manager Stack Size (MAUs) 0x200. When I try to text edit this, there's no entry, and I can't seem to edit it graphically.

Surely I'm not the first to have suffered from this?

Thanks in advance for all suggestions!
