The HRPWM function gives me a headake:
I initialized the SFO function, return value is 1, so SFO is well initialized. I would like to have EPwm4Reg as a high resolution PWM channel, and configured the autoconv function for this channel. Unfortunately the HRMSTEP value is not set for EPwm4 but for EPwm1, which has autoconv disabled. Unfortunately the example projects are not a big help for once, since they all use the buggy SFO library where autoconv doesn't work..... I really cant find the bug, any hint is appreciated.

I would like to have more information on the above concern. Please let us know the Part Number which you are using and SFO library version Number. Since you indicated the examples using the same SFO library, can you provide me with a name of the example file you tried.

Meanwhile i will try to dig more information on this issue from my end.

When you enable AUTOCONV on PWM4 and run your code.

Is the issue you are facing is " Not getting HRPWM functionality on PWM4 or not able to see HRMSTEP value in PWM4 registers "

Thanks for replying. I am working with a TMS320F28027, SFO library version is SFO_TI_Build_V6b.lib I actually didn't run an TI example project, because they all included SFO_TI_Build_V6.lib where autoconversion doesn't work...

The issue is that only EPwm1Regs.HRMSTEP is written with the new value after SFO() is called, however EPwm4Regs.HRMSTEP remains empty. Nevertheless HRPWM functionality is obviously working on EPWM4, but is the MEP scale factor correct with a value 0 in HRMSTEP??

Andreas,

HRMSTEP is mapped only on EPWM1Regs space. The values which is updated by SFO on HRMSTEP gets applied to all EPWMS and that is why the HRPWM functionality is visible on outputs of EPWM4, in your case.
