Hi folks,
I was checking out the .map file for my current project on a 28027 and noticed that some of the items in the .text.n sections, as well as being marked with ".text" are also marked with ":retain", that is the complete line is "foo.obj (.text:retain)". What does the ":retain" mean or signify? I couldn't find any mention of this on the wikis's C28x tools page or linker primer page, nor in the assembly language tools user guide.
