Dear all,

I want to use DATALOG module which is introduced in MotorWare 18, Lab1b and Lab1c to show my signals while developing my project. But when I tried this module by running Lab1b and 1c, I could not get the real-time data logging results.

The strange is I could not receive the smooth signal like the demonstration in the document InstaSPIN Projects and Labs User's Guide (for MotorWare 18).

The waveform you get is right, and the logging data is real time data also in both lab01b and lab01. The data log buffer is only 400 dual-words, so new data will over write the old data from the starting position of data log buffer when the data log buffer overflow.

You can set datalog.Flag_EnableLogOneShot to TRUE to get a frame real data at a time.

Thank you for your feedback. So according to your explanation, I can increase the size of data log buffer to reduce over-writing, can't I?

Right. You can increase the buff size if the memory is enough.

I don't understand why the datalog did not show on the plot when I set datalog.Flag_EnableLogOneShot = true as you suggested?

How can I observe the real-time data with datalog graph tool? Because I want to know the step response of Speed Controller in InstaSPIN.
