Can I change the pwm frequency in TMS320F28032 on runtime?

Hi,

Can I change the PWM frequency and PWM width during running time by changing the period and CMPA value?

For example, after running 5ms, PWM setting is following:

 EPwm1Regs.TBPRD = 100;
 EPwm1Regs.CMPA.half.CMPA = 90;

then after running another 5ms, PWM setting is changed to the following:

EPwm1Regs.TBPRD = 1000;

EPwm1Regs.CMPA.half.CMPA = 900;

I am wondering if I need to change any setting in the firmware? From my waveform, it seems it doesn't follow it. The PWM signals are lost at 10ms, the resetting time.
