Hi,
My customer has questions in spruge9e.pdf page 44 and 45.
Q1: Below description "When CMPA = 0, thePWM signal is low for the entire period giving the 0% duty waveform. When CMPA = TBPRD, the PWM and signal is high achieving 100% duty."
is different from figure 23 . Customer's experiment is the same with figure 23. Is the description wrong?
Q2: Customer's experiment is different from below description "the action based on the old value can take effect for an extra period."
Customer's experiment result is PWM low rather than the old value duty on delay period.
Could TI explain why?
best regards,
Simen
Simen,
Q1: the figure is correct, the text is wrong.
Q2: I believe the point of this is to say that if you change CMPA or CMPB to a value that the counter has already incremented past then that trip event will not occur until the counter has reset and again counted to CMPA or CMPB.
Regards,
Cody
