CCS/TMS320F28069F: get stack pointer postion

Sometimes I get a trap-isr. I have put defined values on the stack, and the stack is not overflowed. For more detail I like to know the stackpointer postion when the trap-isr comes. It's not clear how to do that.

Hi Jan,

In the Registers view in CCS under Core Registers you should be able to see the current value of the stack pointer (SP). Will that work?

Thanks for your answer.

I prefer the stackpointer position in C-code. It's for our apllication not easy to debug with CCS. I like to print de SP position in the ITRAP isr.

Something like this:

But this example don't work for the Piccolo. The compiler gives a syntax error.

I use CCS 5.5 and Compiler version 6.2.7.

Hi Jan,

Yeah, I think that's C6000 code. My assembly coding is a little rough but I think this should be a suitable C2000 equivalent:
