TMS320F28062F: InstaSPIN foc motor ID fail when run into flux estimate state

Part Number: TMS320F28062F
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1200

Hi InstaSPIN chaimpion

I debug F28062F V/F in customer board and met an issue I cannot find the cause, need your support:

The motor ID stall in  EST_State_RatedFlux, I increased the USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT and USER_MOTOR_FLUX_EST_FREQ_Hz, the problem still there.

1) current and voltage bias are fine. used hall current sensor in high side and AMC1200 for voltage sensing.

2) IGBT driver is work.

3)  USER_VOLTAGE_FILTER_POLE_Hz  ~360Hz

4) Rs cal looks ok. And in ramp up state motor run smoothly.

  • Try to change USER_MOTOR_IND_EST_CURRENT and USER_MOTOR_FLUX_EST_FREQ_Hz to enable motor run smoothly in every state, the range of USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT and USER_MOTOR_IND_EST_CURREN is 10~25% of motor rated current. You can try to decrease USER_MOTOR_IND_EST_CURREN also.
If no any improvement, you have to check the current and voltage sampling circuit, what's the filter pole frequency for both current and voltage? To change USER_VOLTAGE_FILTER_POLE_Hz based current/voltage sampling circuit.
  • Hi Yanming

Change USER_MOTOR_IND_EST_CURRENT and USER_MOTOR_FLUX_EST_FREQ_Hz no have improvement.

Can you help to check the detail SCH offline, and I have some detail test results.

    Eric.
