Check the gMotorVars.EstState variables, it's normal if the state is EST_State_RoverL and motor didn't run. You need to change the identification current and frequency in user.h if its is in other states and motor didn't run smoothly.

Motor did run smoothly, it finished identification. it was a low inductance motor so I use lab 2c.

After finishing identification, the gMotorVars.Flag_Run_identify went back to 0, now that i try to put it back to 1 to run the motor, the motor will not run at all.

Used lab02c to identify the motor parameters, and then input these parameters in user.h. It's better to use lab05b or lab10a to run motor with identified parameters.

during my identification the stator stops spinning when identifying the inductance. I get values of the inductance in e-12, which i find to be very wrong.

Yes, it's a incorrect value. Motor was running smoothly during Flux and Ls identification states. You need to tune USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT, USER_MOTOR_IND_EST_CURRENT and USER_MOTOR_FLUX_EST_FREQ_Hz in user.h to let motor run smoothly with a good current waveform.
