CCS/TMS320F28377D: memory map error while trying to program the device

i try to program my board (new board) with the CCS debug mode, but i get the following error:

c28xx_CPU1: file loader: verification falied: values at address 0x0...082028 do not match please verify target memory and memory map.

i tried to program the board with the Uniflash application and it works.

any ideas?

Shimon,

What is the version of CCS that you are using? Can you check for updates in CCS and install if any? Let us know if it does not fix the issue after installing the updates.

im using CCS ver 6.10.00104

still its weird, i worked with the CCS on a previous batch of my boards and everything worked.

now with new batch of boards i simply cannot program the board by using CCS, only with Uniflash.

one more thing ive seen, if i program the board with Uniflash and after that i try to debug the board with CCS and it seems that its working. but any change i doing in my code is not reflected in the board.. i need to program the board again with Uniflash and then enter to debug...

so version might be the solution?

Shimon,

1) As mentioned earlier, did you check for updates in CCS and install them (including any emulator updates)?
2) How are the boot mode pins configured? Try wait mode or serial mode.
3) Did you modify anything in the gel file of CCS?

Are you able to program your device using CCS Flash Plugin with wait boot configuration?
Did you try to install any updates in CCS?
