TMS320F28335: ADC Factory Calibration

I think I already know the answer to this, but I'm looking for confirmation. If I understand it correctly, the factory ADC calibration stored in ROM is only effective in calibrating out [some of] the offset error and not any of the gain error. Please confirm.

I believe that there is gain trim stored in ROM as well.

Can you confirm this? I'm trying to get an idea on about how much total unadjusted error might be left over after factory calibration is applied on this device (at 25C).

I did read this document, but apparently I did not pay close enough attention to the footnote. This seems to confirm what I was looking for. After factory calibration, the datasheet error counts listed still apply. To reduce the error counts further, application specific calibration is required.
