TMS320F28335: initialization question

Hi,

My customer used TMS320F28335 in the solar inverter. Initialization mistake happened sometimes while starting up. Failure rate: 5%

Detail,

When start up, Initialization program appears error. For example, We set variate to 0, but after start-up, the variate change to 1. The error maybe appeared while loading program.

But it's ok after H/W reset. The reset time is 200ms.

Are there any attentions in the start-up process and what's the right start-up process?

    Walsh,

    other than avoiding to use the RAM that is used by boot ROM or otherwise reserved and having proper boot mode pin settings, I don't see any need coming from device boot ROM. But if there is a problem with either above then you should see a much bigger failure rate.

    So I'm not sure why on few parts the variable changes to '1' and you will have to debug the root cause of the variable to change to '1' to find more details on why it is happening.
