TMS320F28069: Wireless programming

Hi,

We have a project with TMS320F28069. Usually, we use Blackhawk USB100v2 JTAG Emulator to program the board. Now we want to upgrade it to program the board in a wireless way. As we have a radio module on the board, our plan is to let the board receive the hex file over wireless and then re-program the device using the hex file. Is that possible to do this?

Hi,

You can implement a SCI bootloader. You can search the forum and TI wiki links for the implementation.

Hi Gautam,

Thanks very much for the suggestion. I have achieved the SCI boot. Now here is the problem: how to convert the cabled SCI communication to a wireless one? Is there any module that I can use?

Dan,
it looks like there is a TI Design that might help you! It demonstrates a UART to Wi-Fi Bridge... This particular design also has some extra hardware for HVAC applications, but it should still suit your needs.
