CCS/Tms320f28377D: Configure RS485

I am new to UART , can you please help me in how to configure RS 485 in microcontroller . Please correct me if I am wrong.

I am unfamiliar with RS 485. I am not sure if our SCI supports this.

I will request another engineer to look into this.

Hi Geet,

In a C2000 device, like the F28377D, the SCI peripheral is used to communicate UART.

A RS232 or RS485 transceiver is then typically used with the C2000 device (and its UART) to create off-board connections.

TI has many RS485 transceivers in its portfolio and which is most applicable will depend on your exact needs. For choosing a specific transceiver, I might recommend posting a question to the Industrial Interface forum:
