RTOS/TMS320F28031: RTOS

Hi everyone,

Is there a RTOS that runs on C2000 micro controller - TMS320f28031. If so, which is the most recommended one and how do I get started with it? It ll be great if there are any tutorials on it! thanks

TI has an RTOS that you can check out called TI-RTOS: www.ti.com/.../ti-rtos-mcu (edit: Todd shared a better link below)

The package comes with examples that will help you familiarize yourself with the RTOS. We also have a training video series:
training.ti.com/ti-rtos-workshop-series

The only other supported options for C2000 that I can think of right now are OpenRTOS and SafeRTOS from WITTENSTEIN. I don't know enough about them to compare them to TI-RTOS, but here's a link to the site if you want to check them out:

Regarding TI-RTOS, since you are not using a Concerto device, I'd recommend just getting the stand-alone TI-RTOS kernel (SYS/BIOS) here: software-dl.ti.com/.../index.html

It has a more complete set of kernel examples for C28 devices.
