Our customer sent us a question about the capability of field program update by CAN interface for Automotive usecase.

Question:

Is it capable to program update by CAN interface on C2000 MCU such as below?

- TMS320F28075

- TMS320F28066

- TMS320F28034

- TMS320F28031

- TMS320F28023

We would appreciate if you tell us the recommended way and documents for program update by CAN interface.

Hello

F28075, F28066, F28034, and F28031 all have a CAN bootloader as a boot mode option that can be used. F28023 does not.
Refer to the individual device TRM (F2807x, F2806x) or boot ROM reference guide (F2803x) for more details.
You can find the boot source code in C2000Ware or controlSUITE.
