Method of load program in 28x DSP

In general, there are two methods to load program in 28x DSP.

1. Use Emulator (like XDS100v2) to load program, the emulator is connected to JTAG interface.

2. Run boot program at first, and then load DSP main program through 485 communication.

Is there other method to load program, especially which can be used in product line (many devices) to enhance load program efficiency ?

    In the industry, CAN based programming solutions are famous.

    Ronnie,
    there are customers who use JTAG, (GPIO)Parallel or SCI. Depending on the MCU you are working with check for the peripheral loading options that are available by boot mode pins settings.

    There are third party production programmers (BPMicro for example) that support production programming of C28x MCU and I believe they have options using Parallel boot loader or SCI or JTAG.
