You would normally run the device at 200MHz and the examples will usually give you this with default settings.

Because the same software examples can run on different HW (Launchpads, ControlCards, factory test boards, and user HW) and using different clock sources (10MHz internal oscillator and a variety of external XTALs or oscillators) I would strongly recommend sanity checking the PLL configurations. If you have a multiplier or divider off you could end up running too fast or too slow, which probably won't damage the device, but will probably cause some strange behavior that is hard to debug.

If the PLL input is 20MHz, you would typically use 20MHz x 20 = 400MHz PLL raw clock. Then SYSCLK = PLL raw clock / 2 to get SYSCLK = 200MHz. If the input is 10MHz, you do the same but use a multiplier of 40.

Thanks Devin. I looked into my register and I found that XTAL was used as OSCCLK. Now I wonder how do I know the frequency of XTAL. It seems like XTAL frequency can be changed

But the example in technical reference manual (page 115) states that the XTAL is 15MHz. That's how I get confused.

The excerpt above is just an example. The input frequency and type can be chosen (by the board designer) from a variety of possibilities as long as it meets the requirements in the datasheet:
