CCS/TMS320F28069: My program runs correctly when debugging within CCS but when I reset cpu it doesnt

I just created a simple project , blinking led, using delay function, I build and debug the program it works, but when I disconnect the launchpad and power it from my phone charger it stops working, actually the launch pad starts running the demo program on the launch pad instead of my program!!!!!

Where does my program go? what happens to my program??

Hi Arash,

This is because your code is programed to run from RAM. Hence, the moment you restart the RAM loses its contents - as expected! What you need is to load your code to FLASH and not RAM for standalone operation. You can implement the same by Right clicking on the project -> Build Configurations -> Set Active -> Flash

There are 3 options in Build configuration " Debug, Release, all configuration" which Debug is active but there is no Flash!!!

Then you'll to make the following changes:

Here are the steps:
You need to add these two statements

MemCopy(&RamfuncsLoadStart, &RamfuncsLoadEnd, &RamfuncsRunStart);
InitFlash(); after InitPieVectTable();

Add F2806x_BL_MemCopy.c file to the project.

Define extern variables above main() function.

extern Uint16 RamfuncsLoadStart;
extern Uint16 RamfuncsLoadEnd;
extern Uint16 RamfuncsRunStart;

Replace 28069M_RAM_lnk.cmd with F28069M.cmd
Compile the code.
Configure your GPIO's to boot to flash.
