ISO1050 Software Configuration

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO1050, CONTROLSUITE

Hi Koteshwar,

I have a development kit TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT with Isolated CAN transceiver ISO1050 and I have a soft where only CANB is configured and used and i don't know if Isolated CAN transceiver is configured with A or B? Can I go from one to the other? Is there a hardware configuration?

Ibrahima

Thanks for your response

  • Hi Ibrahima,

I have moved your question to C2000 forum. As I feel this is the right forum to answer it.

  • Hi Ibrahima,

The TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT is connected directly to GPIO30 & GPIO31 (CANA) of the controlCARDs it primarily supports. You can see this inside the schematics for this kit, which can be found in controlSUITE at the following directory:
    \controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v2.1\~HVMotorCtrl+PFC-HWdevPkg\HVMotorCtrl+PFCKit-R1.1\

Generally, if you have working software that utilizes CANB, porting the software to CANA should be relatively simple.  Make sure the CANA clock is enabled, make sure you utilize the GPIO pins you need for interfacing, and change references of CANB to CANA.  If you use interrupts, you'll also want to make sure you change the PIE setup accordingly.

    Hopefully this helps!

    Thank you,
    Brett

  • It's work very well when i switch in CANA.

I just copy the configuration from CAN B to CAN A..
