Hello, The kit C2000 Delfino MCUs F28377S LaunchPad Development Kit has a differential ADC. You can see the squematic in the next picture.

My question is. IT's possible to meassure negative voltage value with it? Because what I want is to measure the 110 [V] AC voltage signal, using a voltage divider. It's possible? the neutral must be put to the kit ground?

Thank you. I got it but so, What the difference between the simple ADC and the differential ADC? I don't get it yeat.

Hi Julian,

By simple ADC are you referring to a single-ended ADC? If so, a single-ended ADC measures a signal with respect to ground, while a differential ADC measures the difference between two signals.

If you want to learn more about ADCs in general, I recommend taking a look at the TI Precision Labs training series on ADCs:

Video 1.3 explains the difference between single-ended and differential inputs in further detail.

Looking the datasheet I can't find how to set up VSSA. Any help with it? It'll be so helpfull.

VSSA is tied to GND on the board.
