TMS320F28379D: Problem with external mode

Hello everyone,

I have problem to use the external mode in the board Launchpad F28379D with Simulink. I saw the similar questions, but I haven't found an answer.

I'm using Matlab 2017a and CCS v6. I'm using the rights configurations for the external mode but when Simulink will connect with the board it shows the following error:

The serial communication works fine with the configurations bellow, then I think that is not problem with configurations.

Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks!

Make sure to verify the COM port -> error indicates MATLAB is unable to locate the board to download code.

Confirm that the USB cable + connection works via running an example from CCS.

In some cases, CCS or MATLAB can lock the COM port, making inaccessible to the other piece of SW. You may need to reboot your PC to reset the COM port lock, and then try to download code again from MathWorks tools.

I tried to reboot the computer but I have the same error. It's very strange because I can use the serial communication with a SCI block. I receive this error just when I try to use the external mode.
