Compiler/TMS320F2808: DSP_SCI_EchoBack Example || No echo back from Hyperterimal

Part Number: TMS320F2808

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

In DSP_SCI_Echoback, It is not transmitting from hyperterminal to dsp. Am using SCI 28pin RX and SCI 29 pin as TX.

From dsp it gives data, Welcome msg and ask for the character as well, but from Hyperterminal it is not transmitting anything. help me out.

Hi Saravanan,

What hardware are you using?

If you are using a TMDSDOCK2808 or TMDSCNCD2808, can you check the position of the surface mount switch, SW1, on the controlCARD? It should be OFF (open), otherwise the on-card transceiver can create contention with GPIO28.

I am using TMDSDOCK2808, My problem is different, DOCKING board as some problem. I have replaced it. Thanks for your time.
