Hi,

I had found the datasheet of the pin description for PR798 from one of the TI forum queries. But pin number 7 is grounded in the datasheet of PR798 whereas supply voltage is provided to the same pin in the reference design of PSFB reference design. Can you provide a clarification regarding the same? Both files are attached here. (and thanks in advance)PSFB using C2000.pdf PR798B-2_SCH NC.pdf

Hi,

Pins 5 and 7 were swapped on a newer version of the PR798. Note that supply voltage is not connected at pin 7. It is the isolated bias voltage derived from the 400V input and provided to the secondary.

Hi,
Thankyou for replying. So, I assume Pin 7 in PR798 should connected to ground, contrary to the reference design of psfb.
