Can we patch the boot code in OTP so to change the assigned SCIA bootloader pins of the device?
I have reviewed section 3.14 of the TRM along with the options of table 3.28, but the modifications to the SCI pins are not enough for this particular customer application. The intent is to continue to use the same SCIA port after the device completes its boot process. Also we cannot afford to lose the ability to reprogram CPU2 and cannot use GPIO85 because of a conflict with EMIF1 D0. I understand that some ingenuous hardware trick can be done to multiplex the pins, but before spending the money on that option, I would like to explore the possibility of changing the boot code itself. We have done in the past with the Concerto and wonder if this is possible with the new Delfino as well.
Thank you!
