CCS/TMS320F28379D: main.cfg is empty (GUI of PowerSUITE for tidm1000)

Hello Champs,

I'm trying to launch GUI according to the tidm1000 User Guide. I export the project into workspace and when I try to open main.cfg, it starts to open (it writes "preparing viewer") and then the window stays empty.

CCS version is 7.2.0, XDC tools 3.50.1.12 (tried with 3.50.2.20), powerSuite 1.7.0, Machine is Windows 7 64-bit, locales English (US)

GUI support is installed via AppCenter.

I've tried the following:

- close and re-open main.cfg using Open with XGCONF - doesn't help

- export the project into fresh workspace - doesn't help

- export directly via Project - > export CCS project manu - doesn't help

- reinstall CCS from scratch (removed all CCS version completely on the PC), reinstalled .NET framework 4.5.2 - doesn't help

I've looked through the thread here: , but none of the proposals helped either.

Please advise how I can resolve the issue
