Hello,

Lab1b implements a simple Voltz/Hertz control. Quoting the pdf:

"In this lab, a ramp generator module is used to generate the angle based on motor target frequency."

What is meant by the "angle" in this lab? Is it simply the motor shaft angle?

Where can I find some more information about the Angle_gen module?

Thank you for an advice. I'd like to stress that I don't expect theory explanation, I just need the clues on where to look for it to get a full understanding.

    Angle refers to the rotor flux angle, and this module generates a flux angle profile based on the frequency values placed in user.h for lab01b

    As Sean's reply, there is a explain on how to generate the angle based on motor frequency in instaSPIN lab user's guide, it can be found in lab1b descriptions in page 27 of lab guide.

    And you can find the explanation in Digital Motor Control Software Library guide in controlSUITE, Ramp Generator module in Page 94 which is the same function.
