Why red LED does not turn off as commanded by the code?

I encountered this problem as I was creating the blinking-led project. I posted the video in my YouTube channel. Jump to minute 16:00 and watch the rest to see the issue. I wonder if somebody has seen this before... Thank you.

Thank you. That addresses one of my questions. My other question is, why the red led is on before Main runs? The blue led is off, but the red led is on. I would imagine both of them be off. One off and one on is odd. Do you have an idea?

I agree with Gautum's answer. You're probably going to want to switch to writes to GPASET and GPACLEAR.

Thank you. That's good to know. There is an API GPIO_WritePin in F2837xS_Gpio.c that works well. Now, when I swap the order of the instructions, I still have the back-to-back writing the GPIOs, however this time the back-to-back is okay. Something to think about it...

The API might be taking care of non back to back operation by introducing some delay, I guess. API call as well as SET-CLEAR commands work really well.
