TMS320F28075: Is the support for TMS320F28075 controller ending soon?

Why is the Piccolo F28075 Experimenter’s Kit (TMDXDOCK28075) and Piccolo F28075 controlCARD Kit (TMDXCNCD28075) no longer manufactured? Is it because the support for the TMS320F28075 controller will end soon?

    Hi Vijayakumar,

    No, the F2807x device family has just been released and should be supported for many many years to come.

    The reason that the F2807x specific kits are no longer sold is that F2807x was co-designed with F2837xS and F2837xD families to be code and pin compatible. Because of this, you can use the largest device in the super-family (F28379D) to do development for any of the super-family devices. If you are interested in F2807x, get yourself a F28379D kit and then run the F2807x SW directly on it.
