Hello.

I am new in Instaspin FOC&Motion solutions.

We need operate a BLDC motor at 40000rpm with different load.

Is it possible to use the Instaspin Motion technology at this rpm instead general-purpose PID regulator?

Hardware is: LAUNCHXL-F28069M + DRV8332.

InstaSPIN isn't limited by the mechanical frequency, but instead the electrical frequency. How many poles is your BLDC motor?

3 phases and 1 pole pair.

Motor model Maxon EC16. It can be with Hall or without hall sensors.

The relationship between mechanical frequency (Fm, rpm) and electrical frequency (Fe, Hz) is given by:

Fm = (60*Fe)/# of pole pairs

For your setup, Fe comes out to about 667Hz, which InstaSPIN-FOC can achieve.
