CCS/TMS320F28035: typical internal temp sensor reading

Part Number: TMS320F28035
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

What are the typical internal temperature sensor readings?

As per the errata data sheet(sprz295m), the min sampling period should be greater than 550ns at 60MHz. Hence the sampling window was configured to 9 ADC clocks.

Now it reads around 48 deg-C. Is this the typical value?

Also can anyone please explain what is double-sampling as per the errata sheet.

  • Double-sampling means that sample this channel twice and use the second conversion result. Double-sample is equivalent to giving the
S/H circuit adequate time to charge.

For internal sensor usage, I think you can refer to the example code at c:\ti\controlSUITE\device_support\f2803x\v130\DSP2803x_examples_ccsv5\osc_comp
