TMS320F28377S: Some questions about how to use the CLA ?

Hi,all

I have two questions about F28377S CLA.

1. When I run the countrolsuit examples ,everything is OK. But when I imitate the examples , I will face the following questions. In the process of debugging the CLA, I connected CPU1 and CLA1 respectively. Load Program to CPU1 and load symbol to CLA1. Currently I use CLA to complete a simple task, I just want to pass the value of "a" through CLA to "c", "a" and "c" are defined in CpuToCla1MsgRAM and Cla1ToCpuMsgRAM. When debugging, I can see the program can enter into Cla1Task1, But the CLA does not perform the assignment in Cla1Task1.

2. When the CLA is working, can the CPU work at the same time? Are these two parallel relationships?

Yes, CPU and CLA can work same time hence give 2x performance. Please note that CLA has RAED only access to CpuToCla1MsgRAM so make sure CLA is not doing any WRITE access to this msg RAM.

I define "a" in the CpuToCla1MsgRAM, "c" in the Cla1ToCpuMsgRAM, I want to make CLA read the value of "a" and make "c=a" . But when I debug the CLA, I can see the value of "a", but it can't perform "c=a". Could you explain it more clearly?
And I have another question. If I want to compute an array, the result is an array with many numbers, how can the CPU read these numbers? One by one or read as a whole?
