Part Number: TMS320F280049M

I have question about crystal oscillator circuit. 

In the datasheet table 5-25, I found "C0 Crystal shunt capacitance　7pF".

I can find CL1 and CL2 but I don't know what is C0. Could you let me know what is C0 and what should user care for C0?

    Hi Furuya,

    If you look at the specification for any Crystal, it mentions about rated Shunt Capacitance (C0). Datasheet mentions the spec value to use along with Load capacitance while selecting the external crystal.

    Here is the example of the data sheet of external Crystal that lists all the parameters along with Load (CL) and Shunt Capacitance (CO).

    This is just an example to illustrate, it is not a recommendation to use this crystal specifically. Based on the application and the F288049M crystal requirement as per the datasheet, crystal needs to be selected.
