Hello,

I am working with LAUNCHXL-F28069M we are using our own inverter, voltage sensing(ACPL-C87A) & current sensing (LEM HASS-300S) my task for now was to run Torque control on our Axial Fux BLDC Motor. Which has been accomplished and tested thanks to this post.

But now when i am running the motor using lab11a with torque control their is noise issue. As the speed of the motor reaches close to rated speed (i.e. 2500rpm) then some noise starts to come from motor as if the poles are getting skipped. And when I test the motor with same Kp/Ki values with lab5a then their is no issue of noise and motor runs fine (Tested till 2800rpm). As lab11a don't have CTRL and has Field weakening & Overmodulation feature which are also been required for further tests i am obligated to use lab11a.

Don't know how but some part didn't got posted which is,
In this post they say that lab10a & lab11 have some problem. Is it true? If yes then when will the problem be solved? currently i am using latest version of motorware (v1.01.00.18 )

What's wrong with lab10a? Both lab10a and lab11a are speed control mode, what's your modification for torque control mode?

I am using lab 11a & in that i have changed
// get the Iq reference value #changed
refValue = gIdq_ref_pu.value[1];
to
// get the Iq reference value #changed
refValue = _IQmpy(iqref,_IQ(1.0/USER_IQ_FULL_SCALE_CURRENT_A));
So by changing "iqref" value i can achieve torque control.

1. Make sure that the motor parameters is correct and set it in user.h, the ADC SCALE current and voltage, voltage filter pole match the hw board.
2. Make sure that the speed close loop is disable.
3. Make sure that the current and voltage feeback offset is correct in user.h for your hw board
4. Disable the Rsonline in lab11a.
5. Tune the Kp and Ki for both current PI regulator.

Really sry for so late reply. I was shifted urgently to the other project for a month.
But the problem has been solved. I remeasured the motor parameters and offset. And little bit tuned the Kp value as per calculation given in lab manual. This time this worked. Their might be issue with the parameters back then. Thanks yanming.
