HVMotorCtrl+PFCKit source code

Dear all,

In the HVMotorCtrl+PFCKit, there is a flsh image for demonstration purpose. But when I look at the development kit, there are individual projects for each type of motors, and not the source code for this image.

I may have missed it, but is there a related project, or source code somewhere that I can rebuild this image from?

    Michael,

    The software for the flash image that is used inconjunction with GUI is not released because it was meant to be for demonstration purpose only. And supports all three types of motors with a switch in the code. And we feel this would confuse users who want to look at a single type of motor at a time. Why do you want to rebuild the flash image?

    The full source code for the individual motor code in a lab style is available.

    Thank you for your reply.

    The main reason why I want the demo source code is to take advantage of the GUI. I want to modify the demo source code for experimentation on different types of motors without having to modify the GUI as well.

    Initially, I was thinking about combining the source code for different types of motor into one, and use CAN interface to switch from one type of motor to another, then I thought that TI has already done that via the demo code. But the source code for it is nowhere to be found...

    Anyway, I would be grateful if the demo source code would be available for download. Otherwise, I would have to work a little harder to put it together myself.

    Hello Manish,

    I just came upon your post re. the source code for the DSP end of the serial communications link with the HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit. 

    I am presently learning with the HVPM_Sensorless_2833x project in the HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v1.6 developer kit, which I am studying and modifying to operate with a 3-phase power inverter and PMSM of our own design.

    I am also studying the GUI program, written in C#, which I am also learning on the go (lots of fun!).

    I would also be interested in the source code for the DSP end of the serial communication link with the GUI for the motors.  I found a file: SciCommsGui.C, in the folder:  C:\TI\ControlSUITE\development_kits\~SupportFiles\source.  Is it this the correct code for the DSP end of the link with the GUI?  If not, you say that "The full source code for the individual motor code in a lab style is available".  Is it possible to request a copy of that source code?  Thanks very much.
