The website says the TIDM-DELFINO-ETHERCAT is a fully assembled board developed for testing and performance validation only, not available for sale. So, will the demo examples support both AMIC110 and ET1100 slave controller, or only support AMIC110 slave controller?

I saw the file e2e.ti.com/.../578611 , it said TI will release a basic etherCAT slave profile example for C2000. Does it mean that the EtherCAT example for C2000 which will be released recently isn't need AMIC110 or ET1100 at all?

Hi Carolyn,
C2000 will be releasing an example project (with executable slave stack) as well as source for our ET1100 HAL/drivers, a HAL test and a stack demo test. These example project will support both parallel/EMIF or serial/SPI modes of communication.

The Sitara team is developing two ways for C2000 to connect to the AMIC110 -- both over a physical SPI connection. One approach is to run the stack on AMIC110 and have its SPI be the Master in communications with the C2000. The other way is to run the stack on C2000 and it acts as the SPI Master to the AMIC110. The last approach is "similar" to how a C2000 would communicate to the ET1100 over SPI. For either AMIC110 software solution, please contact the Sitara processors group. Thanks!
