Compiler/TMS320F28379D: DriverLib functions for CAN do not accept local optimization higher than 1

The compilation process does not complete when CAN functions are set to be optimized at levels higher than 1. The TRM mentions some limitations in section 22.3.1 and the possibility of fixing the compiler. Can you please give us an update? Short of limiting optimizations, do we have a workaround available in the meantime?

What F2837xD device support version? Is this the older CAN driver library or the newer one in C2000Ware?
I tried newer and older versions of compiler with O2 and didn't see any compiler build errors.
