TMS320F28075: Need help on understanding how SCI samples data.

Hi Team.

I am using TMS320F2807 in one of our internal system test bench, I had few question regarding the SCI peripheral,

1) How is the start and stop  bit detection mechanism internally? 

2) How is the Rx pin sampled and how is bit logic on Rx decided?
