TMS320F28335: Possible to enable only one pin of an ePWM module?

Hi, I am using a control platform based on TMS320F28335. I have a setup with a limited no. of output pins. So, I tried to enable only ePWM 5A and not enable ePWM 5B. Is this even possible to do? If it is possible, I intend to use GPIO 9 (which is used in ePWM 5B) as a regular GPIO. Can someone confirm?

Hi Rohit,

Sure, there's no problem with that. EPWM5B will be "enabled" in theory internally on the device, but you can still use the pin for anything else available on the GPIO mux for those pins.

Hi Kris,
Thanks for confirming this. I tried this and it works, since I can control the GPIO9 separately.
