TMS320F28377D: EM1WAIT polarity

I'm using F28377D and using EMIF Asynchronous Controller in Normal Mode (CS3 space).

I seee the EM1WAIT port has a polarity opposite to what is specified in the technocal reference;

if bit WP0 in ASYNC_WCCR register is 0 wait if EMxWAIT port is low.

if bit WP0 is 1 wait if EMxWAIT port is high.

Is there any other register setting to be considered to correctly set EM1WAIT polarity?

Hi Marco,

You need to enable the WAIT feature by setting EW bit in ASYNC_CSx_CR register.

Polarity definition is same as what you mentioned (0 - active low, 1 active high).

Not sure what is the issue?

I'm sorry. I had wrong setting for wait pin (synchronous) and strobe time (<4 sysclk).
Now it works correctly.
