TMS320F28335: TMS320F28335 and micro SD Card interfacing

Hello,

Im trying to interface TMS320F28335 with micro SD card. The issue im having is that my micro SD card never goes to IDLE state or SUCCESS. It does not generate any error either. im stuck in the loop that checks the response of micro SD. im following the tutorial provided by ti http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spraao7/spraao7.pdf .

I have checked the micro SD card and it works fine with arduino mega. I cant find the reason why it is not working with delfino.

We have some FATFS example code in the F2837x Directory of controlSuite as well. I recommend that you check that out.

Assuming the above links do not help you get past this issue, can you explain a bit more of what you mean by "it is not working" Have you verified signals on a scope? Does your code execution follow the proper procedure? What board are you using?

Hello Mark,
I have verified the signals on logic analyzer. My Tx signal is OK i have verified it through logic analyzer but im not recieving anything from the SD card. It is failing in intitalization process and it is a custom made board. Also i am following the example provided www.ti.com/.../spraao7.pdf with it.

In the SPI config, I had to use CLK=1 and PHASE=0 to get the card to respond, just FYI.
